What to Expect
When we’ve determined that a filling will work suitably for your situation, we’ll get started by applying a numbing gel to the affected area. This substance is followed with a local anaesthetic to leave you completely numb. Once we’ve determined you’re numb, we’ll remove all areas of decay and then prepare the tooth to be filled.
The composite used is chosen to match the rest of your teeth. Once applied, it is set into place with a specialised light. All of the applied material is smoothed out to look completely natural.
There are no particular aftercare instructions that need to be followed. You can eat and drink as usual following your filling procedure.
