Airflow Machine
Just White Dental proudly performs dental procedures with the help of the AIRFLOW® Prophylaxis Master, also known as the original AIRFLOW® machine. Developed in the EMS Research Center in 1981, this innovation has demonstrated reliability for nearly four decades. It has undergone more than 100,000 hours of successful technical and clinical testing in its time.
The AIRFLOW® Prophylaxis Master is not only the latest innovation for the Guided Biofilm Therapy, but even more importantly, it embodies the highest standards of performance with safety and comfort at the forefront of care.
Unlike other dental machines, the AIRFLOW® Prophylaxis Master adapts to three core pieces:
- The AIRFLOW® Handpiece – This piece is first in line in the removal of biofilm, stains, and young calculus on natural teeth, restorations, and implants.
- The PERIOFLOW® Handpiece – Used to remove biofilm in periodontal and peri-implant pocks, this piece is used as a follow-up treatment for the prevention of mucositis and peri-implantitis.
- The PIEZON® Handpiece – This piece is used after the AIRFLOW® to remove remaining supra and subgingival calculus.
Why AIRFLOW®?
The fourth step in the Guided Biofilm Therapy, the AIRFLOW® is an attachment used to remove biofilm, stains, and young calculus on natural teeth, restorations, and implants in one single procedure. Unlike traditional rubber cups and polishing paste, this innovative technology can easily clean hard-to-reach areas, such as interdental spaces, exposed tooth necks, pits and fissures, and orthodontics brackets.
On-Deck Attachments
After the AIRFLOW® is used for the initial clean, the PERIOFLOW® and the PIEZON® are responsible for the nitty gritty details. Similar in nature, the PERIOFLOW® safely removes biofilm from deep subgingival areas, furcation, and peri-implant areas, the PIEZON® efficiently removes biofilm and calculus lingering around implant abutments, threads, restorations, and crowns.
